Fire Safety Technician

SERVICE TECHNICIAN / INSTALLER – WE'LL TEACH YOU FIRE SAFETY Are you practical, enjoy working with people, and want a job where no two days are the same? Brand & Utrymningskontroll is growing rapidly and is now looking for more people to join our service team in Stockholm. And we want to be clear from the start: You don't need to be a trained fire safety technician. Can you use a screwdriver, mount a fire extinguisher straight on a wall, and have the willingness to learn the rest? Then you could be exactly who we're looking for. WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH US? You'll work at our business customers' locations and help them maintain their fire safety systems. Your workday may include: - Installing fire extinguishers and fire blankets - Inspecting and servicing fire extinguishers - Installing evacuation and fire safety signs - Assisting with evacuation plans and other evacuation materials - Documenting completed work - Identifying additional customer needs and proposing solutions - Maintaining ongoing contact with customers and colleagues We'll provide internal training in everything you need to know. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ISN'T WHAT YOU KNOW TODAY We're primarily looking for the right person. You're someone who: - Has energy and likes to get things done - Is practical - Enjoys meeting people - Isn't afraid to talk with customers - Sees what needs to be done without someone having to point everything out - Shows up on time and keeps your word - Is organized and takes responsibility - Enjoys selling when you see the customer needs something If you've previously worked in service, sales, installation, facility management, retail, automotive, restaurants, warehousing, or another practical trade, that's a plus – but not required. However, a valid driver's license is a requirement. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A SALESPERSON – BUT YOU SHOULD ENJOY BUSINESS An important part of the job is talking with customers. When you're at a customer's location and notice they're missing, for example, a fire blanket, an evacuation sign, or another fire extinguisher, we want you to mention it. We value initiative here. If you're ambitious, there are excellent opportunities to influence your own salary through additional sales. WHO DO WE THINK YOU ARE? Maybe you're 25. Maybe 35. Maybe something completely different. Perhaps you currently work in retail, warehousing, automotive, as a facilities manager, or in a service role and feel you can do significantly more than you're given the chance to show.
