The Joint Management Administration consists of operational areas including Democracy & Service, Finance & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Community Planning, Rescue Services & Safety, and the staff office. The administration's mission is to lead, support, and coordinate the entire municipal organization on behalf of the municipal council. This is done by keeping customer needs in focus and by having a holistic view and common working methods. The Rescue Services and Safety operational area is characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and strong community engagement. Here we work to create safety for residents and businesses through preventive work, supervision, training, and emergency response. The work is varied and can range from operational rescue missions to planning, risk analysis, and information initiatives. Within the fire service, we employ 46 full-time and over 50 part-time staff. The position is located at the fire station in Motala. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You will cover absences of regular staff in one of our 5 shift teams. Together you will prepare, respond to alarms, and restore after incidents. During station time, you will work with environmental monitoring and tasks that improve working conditions and increase firefighters' competence. It is important that you want to be part of a team, are adaptable, and want to contribute to the best of the operation. QUALIFICATIONS To be eligible for this position, you have: • B driver's license • Training in SMO (Protection Against Accidents) or ongoing studies are acceptable, provided that at least two terms of the program are completed and you have experience working as a firefighter. Alternatively, GRIB 1 and 2 (part-time firefighter) or other training that the employer deems equivalent. You must have worked as a part-time firefighter for at least 3 years. • Swimming proficiency equivalent to Guldbojen—attach certificate with your application. • Passed age-related treadmill test and medical certificate for smoke and chemical diving to be attached to your application if we do not have current certificates on file. It is advantageous if you: • Have a degree from SMO. • Have experience working as a firefighter (full-time). • Have a C driver's license. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer; start date: According to agreement with the recruiting manager.
