About the unit:
You will be part of a team consisting of a Fire and Safety Chief and seven firefighters who perform inspection and maintenance work related to fire protection. We provide fire protection services to several companies, including those in the defense industry. We operate from the fire station at Björkborn industrial area.
I, who will be your manager, am Mattias Långström. I have worked at Elcoline since 2022 and have been responsible for Industrial Fire Defense for the same period. Before that, I worked in municipal rescue services in various positions. For me, it's important that we work together as a team to create the best work environment and well-being! Your tasks and responsibilities:
In fire and emergency medical services, we mainly work with preventive safety measures, but the position also includes emergency responses to alarms.
Examples of work tasks:
Plan and conduct exercises and training related to fire protection at our customers.
Systematically report and document fire protection work (SBA).
Maintenance and inspection of fire equipment, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, defibrillators, etc.
Gas measurements
Draw up evacuation plans.
Maintenance and care of fire trucks, rescue equipment, and the fire station.
Participate in on-call duty after training.
Qualifications:
We would like you to have previous experience working in rescue services and with preventive fire protection work.
Basic firefighter training: GRIB training or equivalent, or alternatively the training Disaster Protection (SMO) or equivalent.
If you also have training as a Rescue Operations Leader A or equivalent, that is a merit.
Passed medical examination and treadmill test.
Class B driver's license. BE and C endorsements are advantageous.
Good computer skills (Office package) are required.
The position requires you to pass security vetting.
When on call, the requirement is a response time of 10 minutes.
