The Position The employment is a permanent position starting in fall 2026 and possibly spring 2027. Job Duties As a firefighter, you will be part of the response team and conduct rescue operations in situations such as fires, water accidents, traffic accidents, and medical emergencies. Being part of a work group means shift work with days, nights, and weekends according to schedule. The firefighter's daily work also includes working as an instructor in training sessions and providing information to children and adults in the municipality, as well as other preventive tasks, which is why good pedagogical and analytical skills are important to us. We would also like you to be able to manage projects independently in both operational and preventive areas. Therefore, we are looking for you who: - have the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) two-year full-time firefighter training (SMO), or Rescue Operations/GRIB training or other equivalent training - have an interest in working in both the accident prevention and operational areas - have analytical ability, are pedagogical and curious, are good at and enjoy communicating both verbally and in writing - can stand in front of a group and conduct training or provide information - have good social competence, ask the necessary questions, and enjoy working together with others.
