RESPONSIBILITIES As a Fire Safety Controller with us, you play an important role in ensuring safe and effective fire safety work within our operations. You work both strategically and operatively with preventive measures, educating employees, and contributing to safe environments for patients, visitors, and staff. Key responsibilities • Perform self-inspections • Update, develop, and follow up on governing documents within systematic fire safety work (SBA) • Conduct fire safety training and support departments in their preventive work • Collaborate closely with departments as well as external stakeholders • Monitor the external environment for laws, regulations, and requirements to ensure that operations comply with current standards and develop their fire safety work. You take responsibility and have the ability to independently structure your work and drive issues forward. You handle both long-term strategic challenges and acute situations with equal skill. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in close dialogue with both departments and external stakeholders. To succeed in the role you need • Training as a firefighter in municipal fire service (GRIB, SMO, or equivalent) • Experience working with supervision • Several years of experience in operational work as a firefighter or officer in municipal fire service. Experience in fire prevention work and/or as an instructor in fire safety is a merit. If you have experience working with flammable materials, that is also a merit. We apply probationary employment.
