You will be based at our area office in Bergsjön and spend much of your time at our properties, which in addition to Bergsjön are located in the city center, Partille, and Frölunda. We are a team of engaged colleagues who support each other and work together to achieve our goals. As a building maintenance technician with us, you are the one with eyes on the property who ensures that our tenants continue to receive excellent service. Your main responsibilities are to troubleshoot, repair, and fix problems that occur in our customers' apartments. Therefore, you will spend most of your day at our properties, but we also make sure to see each other regularly at the office and are committed to creating a pleasant and inclusive work environment. As a building maintenance technician with us, you are offered a varied job with significant personal responsibility. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues, particularly other maintenance technicians and assistant property managers. Your main responsibilities: create and maintain good relationships with tenants, contractors, and employees conduct systematic property inspections according to an established schedule planning and execution of repairs and routine maintenance participate in inspections during move-ins and move-outs handle service requests, complaints, and claims, and provide feedback to tenants order and follow up on property supplies and minor contractor work perform inspections of ventilation, heating, and electrical systems in our properties Your Profile We are looking for someone with a high school education, preferably with a focus on or further studies in technology and/or property management. You are a handy problem solver with knowledge and experience in at least some of the following areas: plumbing, apartment inspections, building regulations, inspection work, construction, or electrical systems. We believe you enjoy sharing your areas of expertise and learning from others so together we can help customers with most things. You also have experience with customer-focused property work and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. You should be comfortable working with computer systems and a B-category driver's license is required. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a building maintenance technician, you have significant control over your time, so we are looking for someone who is responsible and can prioritize. You have great drive and are welcome to share ideas about how we can improve in your area. Your ability to work independently is strong, but you function equally well in a group as we place great importance on collaboration and supporting each other.
