Housing Company Seeking Chief of Staff Do you want to take on a key role in the development of Bostadsbolaget? We are now establishing a staff department that brings together specialist functions with a focus on developing working methods, processes, governance and business support. As Chief of Staff, you will have a unique opportunity to build and lead the department, and play a central role in driving Bostadsbolaget's continued development. You will be an important force in translating strategic ambitions into concrete change and creating the conditions for increased implementation capacity, efficient working methods and clear results across the entire organization. About the Role As Chief of Staff, you will lead a newly established department that brings together business development and specialist functions in IT and digitalization, security, legal affairs, rent negotiations and safety and social sustainability. The role is broad and combines strategic leadership with a clear focus on implementation and results. You create structure, direction and context and bring different competencies to work as a unified whole rather than separate functions. Together with the business, you drive the development of working methods, processes and governance and ensure that initiatives are followed up and deliver actual impact. You and your department are a qualified support to the CEO and senior management on cross-organizational matters. You are responsible for initiating, coordinating, directing and following up development initiatives that strengthen the company's ability to meet future demands and opportunities. Examples of work tasks: Lead and develop the staff department and take responsibility for the department's activities, finances and employees. Ensure clear governance, prioritization and follow-up within the staff department. Create conditions for the department's specialist expertise to be translated into concrete benefits for the business. Build strong collaboration between the company's departments and functions. Represent the staff department and the company in internal and external contexts. You report directly to the CEO and are part of the company's senior management. You have personnel responsibility for both subordinate managers and directly reporting specialists. Who Are You? We are looking for an experienced and confident leader with the ability to navigate complex organizations. You are strategic but also have a strong focus on implementation and are experienced in translating goals and strategies into practical results that are felt in the organization. You have experience leading major development and change initiatives and creating structure, engagement and buy-in in organizations where multiple perspectives need to be balanced. You thrive in a role where you can take overall responsibility, prioritize between different needs and bring different parts together into a functioning and efficient whole. As a leader you are clear, confident and development-oriented. You build trusting relationships, create engagement and get people to work towards common goals. We are looking for someone who has: An academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. Several years of experience in management or leadership roles in large organizations. Documented experience leading major development and change initiatives with clear results. Experience developing working methods, processes, business governance or organization. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business areas. Experience managing managers, qualified specialists or cross-organizational functions. It is a merit if you have: Experience from public activities, public benefit housing or other complex organization with a clear public mission.
