Boreal Sweden is growing and is now looking for a structured and committed Personnel Planner for our bus operations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing personnel resources to ensure efficient, sustainable and cost-effective traffic production.
As a personnel planner, you have a central function in the operations and work closely with traffic management, planning and operations management. You contribute to ensuring that the right competence is in the right place at the right time and are an important part of creating the conditions for a safe and attractive work environment for our employees.

We are looking for someone with experience in personnel planning, staffing planning or scheduling, preferably from the transport industry, healthcare or other personnel-intensive operations.
Your responsibilities
As a personnel planner, you are responsible for strategic and tactical personnel planning within bus operations.
Your main responsibilities are to:
Plan and optimize services, schedules and staffing based on operational needs
Ensure efficient use of personnel resources in accordance with laws, agreements and operational requirements
Develop and adapt services and work schedules to meet changed traffic conditions
Work with long-term and short-term staffing planning
Monitor absences, vacation planning and resource needs
Analyze staffing needs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Ensure that personnel planning supports the operation's financial and operational goals
Collaborate with traffic management, traffic planning, HR and operations management
Participate in startups, traffic changes and operational development
Provide planning support to department managers regarding personnel training
Your background and qualities
We are looking for someone who is thorough and has a strong interest in planning and optimization, and enjoys working in a role where structure, analysis and collaboration are key to success.

Have experience in personnel planning, scheduling or staffing planning
Have very good system skills and find it easy to work in digital planning tools
Are analytical, thorough and solution-oriented
Have good administrative skills and can handle multiple tasks in parallel
Are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with different functions in the operation
Take responsibility, work independently and drive your work forward
Have an economic and operational holistic perspective
It is an advantage if you have experience with working time regulations and collective agreements, preferably within the transport or public transport industry
In this role you work in the operation's planning and optimization systems, including:
Trapeze
Klartext
Experience with these or similar systems is a merit.
You express yourself fluently in Swedish in speech and writing and feel confident communicating in English in work-related contexts.
