Boliden seeks Operations Center Operator for Renströmsgruvan

Join us and drive change for future generations. Your role: As an operations center operator, you hold a key position at Renströmsgruvan. Your assignment is to create and coordinate sustainable weekly and shift schedules for mine operations with a focus on high safety and productivity. You work in the operations center where you coordinate work groups and play a central role in emergency situations as well as responsibility for monitoring scale protection. Through your work, you contribute to the operations achieving its goals and functioning efficiently. We offer a six-month temporary position with a start date as soon as possible by agreement. Your team: You will become part of an engaged team of four colleagues who drive the work forward together. The work is shift-based, which means you take turns being responsible for production and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Shifts run every other week, from Tuesday to Monday, and alternate between morning and afternoon shifts. Your responsibilities: Responsibility for planning and preparing activity plans for mine operations, in line with both short-term and long-term goals. Monitoring of ongoing activities, prioritizing efforts and adjusting planning in case of unforeseen events. Analysis of deviations and work on developing efficient working methods. Preparation and compilation of production reports. Your contribution: To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy juggling multiple tasks and quickly prioritizing between assignments. You are structured, focused, and have good communication skills. We also see that you are curious, ask questions, and have analytical thinking that helps you follow up on results and solve problems. To succeed in the role, you also need to have strong collaboration and coordination skills. Requirements: High school diploma Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English Good computer skills Class B driver's license Merits: Experience from a similar role, for example in operations, logistics or alarm centers.
