Your Role As an operations center operator at Kristineberg Mine, you are the hub of operations and have a central role in keeping production running. Your assignment is to create and coordinate a sustainable and reliable weekly and shift schedule for mine operations. You monitor and control operations in real time, coordinate the flow of machinery and materials, and maintain ongoing contact with personnel in the mine. Work in the operations center contributes to the organization reaching its goals with high safety and productivity. You actively contribute to good cooperation between work groups and have an important role in handling deviations, emergencies, and monitoring of scale protection. The role requires strong prioritization skills and the ability to make quick decisions at a fast pace. The position involves shift work every other week, with alternation between morning and afternoon shifts. Your Team Today the team consists of four people, and you are responsible for the shift you work on. You work closely with other departments in the organization and manage daily operations on your shift. Your Work Tasks The work involves planning and preparing activity plans for mine operations to ensure that both short- and long-term goals are met. You are responsible for monitoring ongoing activities, prioritizing efforts, and adjusting planning for unforeseen events. We continuously work to prevent, analyze deviations, and drive improvements to develop our working methods. The role includes performing varying work tasks sometimes at a fast pace and being able to manage these with good prioritization skills.
