JOB DUTIES The position involves working as a special education teacher with specialization in language, writing, and reading development. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment for students based on mutual respect, collaboration, and stimulate students to learn. You have good leadership both inside and outside the classroom and keep yourself informed about current developments and school improvement. You have positive and high expectations for students with challenges and adapt instruction based on all students' levels, with focus on all students' benefit. Alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. In collaboration with other staff at the schools, you are responsible for the organization's development and strive to create a pleasant environment for both students and staff. You will use InfoMentor as a tool for documentation and for student and parent contact. The position may also include some full-class instruction. QUALIFICATIONS We seek someone who is a certified special education teacher and has credentials with specialization in language, writing, and reading development. You are accustomed to working with clear goal focus based on curriculum documents. To succeed in the role, you must build trusting relationships both inside and outside the school. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and genuine interest in the world of primary education and how it is affected by the outside world. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's methods for continuous improvement. Good ability to use digital technology in instruction and as a tool for information, planning, and documentation is required. As a person, you are communicative, responsive, and well-versed and live up to the professional ethical principles for teachers and have an aptitude for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge.
