As a residential support worker, as needed, at Fårstickans group home, you will be an incredibly important part of the residents' lives and a source of security in their daily routines. You will help create a home where each person has the opportunity to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
These positions are "hourly substitutes" when regular staff are absent.
Work tasks that are included, for example:
Provide support in daily routines and personal care
Create structure, security, and predictability
Support social contacts and activities
Work according to implementation plans
Document according to applicable guidelines
Qualifications
Care and support education or equivalent
Experience working within LSS or similar activities is a merit
Experience with low-affective approach and clarifying pedagogy is a merit
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Personal Qualities

About the Workplace
Fårstickans group home is a small group home with five places in central Falköping.
At Fårstickan, adult residents live who belong to disability category 3, which means they live with permanent physical or mental functional impairments that create major difficulties in daily life and require extensive support. Sometimes substance abuse issues may be present.

Fårstickan is part of Järstorps Omsorg AB. We are a small family-run company with deep and well-established roots in the Småland entrepreneurial spirit and the Swedish care home tradition. Roots that go back over a hundred years. We have no ambitions whatsoever to become a large care provider; instead, relationships and continuity take precedence over expansion. We are the same today as we will be tomorrow.

Järstorps Omsorg operates LSS activities within personal assistance, group homes, and soon also daily activities. We currently have approximately 80 colleagues and our headquarters is located in Taberg outside Jönköping, but we operate throughout Götaland and Svealand.
