We are now seeking a residential support worker to join our team in Upplands Väsby. We offer training and a rewarding position where you make a real difference! The position is a probationary employment at 100%. About Upplands Väsby Residential Support SoL Within Nytida, we have broad and extensive experience in treatment work and providing support with the apartment as a central platform. This operation is run on behalf of Upplands Väsby Municipality, where Nytida is the service provider. Residential support is an initiative aimed at strengthening the individual's ability to manage their daily life both at home and outside. Support is provided by you working together with the individual to plan, implement, and follow up on daily activities. The goal is for the person to develop and maintain their independence and have the conditions to live like others in society. All services granted by the municipality are in accordance with the Social Services Act. About the Role As a residential support worker, you provide social, educational, and practical support to people who need help managing their daily lives. You work from an individually tailored approach where the person's participation, self-determination, and own abilities are central. In this role, you support the individual in planning, implementing, and following up on daily activities such as household tasks, dealing with authorities, finances, shopping, social activities, and establishing functional routines. Support is provided together with the individual and aims to develop and maintain the person's own resources. The work involves motivating, guiding, and creating conditions for the individual to live as independently as possible. You work in a rehabilitative and solution-focused manner, using pedagogical and evidence-based methods to strengthen the individual's capabilities. Documentation, collaboration with colleagues and external partners, and professional conduct are a natural part of the assignment. It is a merit if you have experience documenting according to IBIC. You will have a group leader close by who spends part of their time working in the operation. Your Experience and Knowledge You who are applying have education as a nursing assistant, social worker, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and documentation experience. It is a merit if you have experience working in residential support or similar services within social psychiatry. Knowledge of mental health and comorbidity is a merit. Experience with MI and ESL is also something we value. You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and are responsible.
