We are now hiring a residential support worker for our team at Stålgatan 57. We offer training and a fulfilling job where you make a real difference! This is a part-time position at 50% with on-call duties. About Stålgatan 57: Stålgatan 57 is a supported living facility for 6 adults who fall under the LSS target group 1, including those with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disabilities. We have a small and dedicated team of staff members. The facility is located in a pleasant setting in a quiet residential area with abundant green spaces in the Slavsta district on the eastern outskirts of Uppsala. A bus stop is located right next to the residence with frequent connections to central Uppsala. Parking is available adjacent to the facility. About the role: As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you work toward making each day meaningful and engaging. You provide support and guidance with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the role is to encourage and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and fulfilling leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours include daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call shifts. You will have a team leader who shares their time working in the facility. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge: You have upper secondary education in care and health or equivalent training. You have strong Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is a merit if you have experience working with this target group.
