Both positions are full-time positions and you will work days, evenings, and weekends. About the unit: Smedjevägen 28A is a group home with six places and is designed for people who have autism and/or intellectual disabilities at various levels. Smedjevägen 28 is located in the community of Urshult, which is in Tingsryds municipality. Currently, approximately 15 residential support workers work at the unit, and there is also a responsible group leader on site. About the role: As a residential support worker, you always start from our clients' individual needs and wishes, and you will provide them with support and assistance in their daily lives using a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you work to make everyday life meaningful and enriching for those living in the group home. Work tasks include helping with personal care and healthcare, helping with cooking, cleaning, laundry, participating in various social activities, medication management, providing communicative support, supporting daily activities, and more. An important part of daily work is to work in a motivating and supportive manner so that our clients have good opportunities to develop their individual abilities. It is also part of your work to be able to document and work with the individual implementation plans that each client has. Experience and knowledge: You who apply for these positions have a high school education in healthcare and social care or other education that is considered equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. As a person, you have a positive outlook, a strong interest and commitment to working with people, and you are responsible. You should also enjoy being part of a team and be able to support your colleagues, while it is important that you always keep our clients' best interests in focus in all work you perform.
