Housing Support Worker for Sheltered Housing

Are you interested in working at a sheltered housing facility? Are you trained as a social pedagogue/treatment pedagogue or similar? Perhaps you started as a childcare worker and have complemented that with post-secondary studies relevant to the position? Do you have knowledge about intimate partner violence? We are located in several places in Sweden, and for the facilities we are recruiting for now, it is an advantage if you live in Södermanland or Västmanland and surrounding areas. We are looking for full-time staff as well as staff as needed on weekends and weekdays! Staff seeking work as needed are preferably those who have studies in social/pedagogical work as their main occupation. The work primarily involves support and safety conversations, but also a lot of childcare, practical assistance, client transportation, record-keeping, and more. On weekends, the focus is on various shared activities with families! You need to have at least one year of work experience in social/pedagogical work, and it is an advantage if you have previously worked with children as there is considerable childcare and conversations/activities with children. As a person, you are therefore fond of children, empathetic, and passionate about helping others. Furthermore, you are flexible, resourceful, and can work independently. You know the difference between being personal and private. A valid driver's license (there will be considerable driving), access to your own car, and the ability to speak and write good Swedish are requirements. As full-time staff, you will also be on call from home one week per month. Your working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but work can also occur during evenings and weekends.
