We are now hiring a residential support worker for our wonderful team at Läkarvägen. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! About Läkarvägen Läkarvägen is a newly built, modern group home with 6 residents in a quiet area on the outskirts of Säter. The facility offers lake views with nature and hiking trails nearby. The location is approximately 1.7 km from Säter's city center, with the nearest bus stop just a couple of hundred meters away. Läkarvägen has approximately 20 employees in various positions. Our staff have experience and expertise working with our target group. They hold relevant qualifications in social care, such as nursing programs, KY-qualified social care training, or social work degrees. At Läkarvägen, we practice hands-on leadership. We have a coordinator working daytime hours as well as a facility manager shared across two homes in Dalarna. About the Role As a residential support worker at Läkarvägen, you will base your work on residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with colleagues, you'll work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important aspect of the role is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and creating opportunities for active, meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning based on care plans. Work hours are 7:30 AM–9:45 PM, weekdays and weekends, plus overnight shifts with on-call duties. Your Experience and Knowledge You have secondary education in healthcare and social care or equivalent qualification, such as childcare worker training, treatment assistant, or social/educational support worker training. You must be able to present your nursing assistant certificate or other relevant qualification at the job interview. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is advantageous if you have experience working with our target group and several years of experience in care work. Otherwise, your CV isn't the most important thing.
