Residential Support Worker at Hunnamålavägen 1 (formerly Dahlforsen)

We are now looking for a residential support worker to join our team at Hunnamålavägen 1 (formerly Dahlforsen). We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! The positions are full-time, but hours of service can be discussed as we work with needs-based scheduling. You will work day shifts, evenings, and weekends. We are also recruiting residential support workers for night shifts. About Hunnamålavägen 1 (formerly Dahlforsen) Hunnamålavägen 1 is a group home with six places serving individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities at various levels. Hunnamålavägen 1 is located in the community of Urshult in Tingsryds Municipality. Currently, approximately 15 residential support workers are employed at the facility, and there is also a responsible group manager on-site. About the Role As a residential support worker, you work based on each resident's individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other colleagues, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You provide support and guidance with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure life. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends. We are also recruiting residential support workers for night shifts. You will have a group manager close by who spends part of their time working in the facility. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You have a high school education in healthcare and elderly care or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group.
