Residential Support Worker for Group Home in Social Psychiatry, Nacka Municipality

Your Assignment At Helenebergsvägen group home, adults with mental health disabilities live in their own apartments with access to shared spaces. As a residential support worker, you provide individually tailored support that strengthens clients' independence, participation, and quality of life. The work combines social support, practical daily assistance, and some personal care. You're there as support in everyday life, motivating participation and activities, and contributing to a safe, structured, and meaningful existence. No two days are exactly alike, and you need to be able to handle both planned interventions and situations that arise along the way. Your tasks include: - Provide individually tailored support based on clients' implementation plans - Motivate and support clients in their daily life and social activities - Plan and carry out activities both at and outside the home - Support clients with daily tasks such as meals, cleaning, laundry, and shopping - Plan, order, and prepare meals together with clients or for shared activities - Handle medication administration according to delegation - Document and follow up interventions in the organization's digital documentation system - Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare, and authorities The work includes day, evening, weekend, and overnight on-call shifts according to schedule. Your Experience To be eligible for this position, you need: - Completed education from a healthcare and care program with a focus on psychiatry, or other education that the employer deems equivalent, such as social work or psychology education - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written You should also have experience with: - Work in social psychiatry, psychiatric 24-hour care, or other psychiatric services - Motivational Interviewing (MI) - Low-arousal approaches - Medication handling - Working with implementation plans and digital documentation It is a merit if you have: - Experience with the method An Independent Life (ESL) - Driver's license (Category B) What We Offer At Helenebergsvägen, you get work where your competence, engagement, and ideas have space.
