Residential Support Worker for Group Home in Social Psychiatry in Nacka Municipality

We are now recruiting a residential support worker for Helenebergsvägen group home, a residence with special services according to the Social Services Act (SoL), within social psychiatry in Nacka Municipality. Here you will find varied and meaningful work where you, together with dedicated colleagues, support individuals with mental health disabilities to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. This position is a special fixed-term employment (SÄVA) on a full-time basis for the period September 1, 2026–February 28, 2027, with the possibility of extension. Your Assignment At Helenebergsvägen group home, individuals with mental health disabilities live in their own apartments with access to common areas. As a residential support worker, you provide individually tailored support that strengthens customers' independence, participation, and opportunities to live as independently as possible. The work combines social support, practical daily interventions, and some care assistance. You are present as a support in everyday life, motivate participation in activities, and contribute to a safe, structured, and meaningful existence. Your work tasks include, among other things: provide individually tailored support based on customers' implementation plans motivate and support customers in their daily lives and toward social activities plan and carry out activities both at and outside the residence support customers with daily tasks such as meals, cleaning, laundry, and shopping plan, order, and prepare meals together with customers or for the common activities take responsibility for medication management according to delegation document and follow up interventions in the organization's digital documentation system cooperate with colleagues, health and medical care, and authorities The work includes day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and night on-call duty according to schedule. Your Experience We are looking for someone who has: education from a care and welfare program with a focus on psychiatry or other education that the employer deems equivalent, such as social worker or psychology education experience working in social psychiatry, psychiatric residential care, or other psychiatric activities experience with motivational interviewing (MI) experience with low-affect approach experience with medication management experience working with implementation plans and digital documentation strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. It is considered a merit if you have: experience with the method Independent Living (ESL) a driver's license (Category B).
