EMMA Meeting Place is an open gathering space for residents in Farsta who live with mental health challenges. Here we offer an environment for social community, a varied range of activities, and a meaningful place to spend time. The meeting place includes a large kitchen that prepares good homemade food daily, as well as a café where you can buy refreshments. The meeting place is a space where people can come to relax, meet other people, or participate in excursions, celebrations, and cultural activities. At Emma Meeting Place there are also participants with approved employment support. Together with staff support, participants can take part in activities such as cooking, baking, crafts, painting, textiles, yoga, and jewelry making. We offer * Wellness benefits * Wide range of training through Forum Carpe * Generous pension benefits * Meal allowance Your role Your role is to create a pleasant and meaningful life for both temporary visitors to the meeting place and participants who have their daily employment support with us. The service is aimed at adults with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities who have been granted employment support or visit us at the meeting place. Employment support involves both offering an active daily life with social contacts and activities, and contributing to recovery and a future with opportunities for studies, internships, work, or other pursuits. Your competence and experience • You have basic training in care with a focus on psychiatry or other education that can be considered equivalent by the employer. • Experience working with the target group, i.e., adults with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. • You have interest and basic competence in cooking, gardening, and/or crafts. • You have good communication skills in both speech and writing. For us, your personal abilities and skills are important; we will place great emphasis on them. To succeed in this role, you need to be: • Independent and comfortable meeting with people. • Pedagogical and empathetic. • Flexible and collaborative. It is a merit if you have: * Experience in kitchens and kitchen work * Experience in gardening * Experience in crafts Stockholm City works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus preventing discrimination.
