Falu Municipality and the Care Administration are now seeking residential support workers for one of social psychiatry's residential facilities. Working hours are based on the unit being staffed between 7:30 AM and 8:30 PM every day of the week. A major initiative that has been ongoing within social psychiatry is the development of staffing optimization across our six residential units and our daily activities. This means that as an employee you will be introduced to and work at one or more units, but you will have your primary placement at one of the units. Despite the staffing optimization, our goal is always to create secure and cohesive work teams. WORK DUTIES As a residential support worker, you perform both social and practical support services to strengthen and support individuals in their everyday lives, both within and outside the home, all based on a solution-focused approach and a low-arousal way of interacting. The goal is to contribute to a recovery process for the individual that could eventually make residential support unnecessary. The assignment may involve providing support and guidance in carrying out various household tasks and performing delegated health and care tasks, but also expanding everyday life outside the home through social activities such as outings and more. Residential support should be flexible and tailored considering the individual's changing needs based on an individual implementation plan. In your work you will work in our operations system Treserva, which is why the ability to maintain documentation is a must according to specified guidelines with good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a residential support worker, you collaborate with the operations' nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. Based on the residential support assignment, you also have a role called "primary contact" for certain residents at the facility. In that role, you participate in the creation and follow-up of implementation plans, maintain contact with family members, administrators/guardians, and participate in coordinated care planning and other planning related to the individual. Your work duties also include taking responsibility for implementing and following up on tasks assigned by other colleagues, professionals, or your supervisor. Qualifications The role requires: Education as a nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry or other education that the employer deems equivalent Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities Experience working with implementation plans Good computer skills Good ability to document and express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written A strong interest in the target group and the psychiatry field We are looking for someone who: is relationship-building is structured is stable has high collaborative ability has good empathetic ability Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. The operations apply the full-time work agreement "Full-time for everyone," where the starting point is full-time but with the possibility of requesting a different employment percentage. The agreement also provides flexibility and the possibility to request certain working hours to some extent. Working hours include day and evening.
