Residential Support offers individually tailored assistance to people who need help managing their daily lives and creating conditions for independent living. We meet people of different ages and life situations. This may involve mental health issues, neuropsychiatric functional impairments, comorbidities, social challenges, or other life situations where individually tailored support makes a difference.

As a Residential Support Specialist, you meet people in different life situations. You are there when everyday life feels difficult, when structure is lacking, or when someone needs support to take the next step toward a more independent life. With professional conduct, patience, and faith in people's own abilities, you contribute to creating security, participation, and hope for the future.
We are now seeking a new colleague for our residential support team.
Job Responsibilities
As a Residential Support Specialist, you work closely with the individual and provide support based on individual decisions and implementation plans. You motivate, guide, and support the person in developing and maintaining their own abilities.
The work may include providing support with:
planning and structure in daily life
household chores and practical tasks
contacts with authorities, healthcare, and other partners
finances and other everyday matters
social community and meaningful leisure time
strengthening the individual's independence and participation
You work both independently and together with colleagues. Collaboration with other services and professions is an important part of the assignment. Documentation in accordance with applicable legislation is included.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
education as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
experience working with people in need of support
good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
good computer skills
B-category driving license
It is an advantage if you have experience working in social psychiatry, psychiatry, substance abuse care, or other services aimed at people with complex support needs. Knowledge of recovery-oriented approaches, motivational interviewing (MI), and low-arousal behavior management is also advantageous.
