ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking residential support workers for the municipality's group homes within individual and family care services. As a residential support worker, you assist persons living in group homes according to LSS (Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). The work is arranged during day, evening, and weekend shifts. Within individual and family care services, we work to make full-time employment the norm. We are looking for someone who has nursing assistant education, is a childcare worker, or has other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Knowledge of disabilities and low-arousal approaches is a merit. You should have an affirming working style and be able to use alternative communication methods such as visual supports and social stories. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to giving other people meaningful lives and support them in their daily lives. You have the ability to adapt in your work and prioritize according to current conditions, and you see opportunities rather than obstacles. As a person, you are engaged, calm, confident, responsible, and have a genuine interest in the target group you will work with. You have good problem-solving skills and a positive view of humanity.
