Residential Care Worker for Group Home in Sveg

We are now recruiting a residential care worker for a group home in Sveg. The group home houses adults with disabilities, often including physical impairments, which means heavy lifting and physically demanding work occur regularly. Working hours vary and include days, evenings, and weekends. On-call duty and personal assistance for residents are also part of the role. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis during the application period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Job Responsibilities - Based on individual needs, provide conditions for residents to receive quality care regarding housing, leisure, and activities. - Guide and provide support regarding social interactions, authorities, and other contacts as needed. We work with the documentation system Viva and the HR administration system Self Service. Qualifications Requirements: - Nursing Assistant certification or other pedagogical education that the employer considers equivalent. - Approved grades in Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language, and fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. - Documented experience working with people with disabilities. - Class B driver's license. - Very good computer skills, as the work requires documentation in systems such as Social Journal, creating implementation plans, and risk assessments. To work in care for elderly and adults with disabilities, a criminal record check is required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Personal Qualities - You are stable and confident in your demeanor and can demonstrate respectful interactions. - You are patient, flexible, and willing to participate in various activities and vacation trips. - You have good physical fitness, as heavy physical work occurs regularly.
