WORK TASKS Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now seeking an engaged residential support counselor for the Support Services Department. This is a temporary position due to studies, but there are good opportunities for extension. Your main placement will be at a supported living facility for adults, but since the employment is within the Support Services Department, work tasks and placement may be adapted based on operational needs. As a residential support counselor, you will have a responsible, varied, and meaningful job where you support people in their daily lives and contribute to increased independence, security, and quality of life. The work is about much more than practical support. It is about building relationships, creating structure, and providing people with conditions to develop according to their own needs and abilities. One day you might plan an activity or inspire a good dinner, the next day you are there providing conversational support when life feels challenging. Operations are dynamic and adapted to residents' needs. This means that work tasks, responsibilities, and team size may vary over time. Currently, the number of residents is relatively low, which means you often work independently or together with a colleague. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is confident, responsive, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You: • Are creative and solution-oriented when plans change or new situations arise. • Have patience and the ability to meet people with calm and respect. • Are social and communicative, with the ability to build trusting relationships. • Are a good listener and can meet people in both everyday conversations and more challenging situations. • Have the ability to create structure, predictability, and security for people who are dependent on it in their daily lives. • Enjoy working both independently and together with others. Requirements • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Merits • Relevant education in healthcare, care, social work, or other education that the employer deems relevant. • Experience working in support services, psychiatry, or similar operations. • Category B driver's license Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, Start date: Immediate or by agreement, Ends: 2027-08-31.
