And we grow together. Now we're looking for a dedicated aspiring store manager to join our team! As an aspiring store manager at Lidl, you will initially not be assigned to a specific store, although the address in the title refers to one of our stores. Your journey begins with a comprehensive onboarding tailored to your unique experience and needs. To give you a thorough understanding of our store operations, you will work in different stores and try all the different roles in the stores. At the same time, you will receive training in areas such as leadership, labor law, workplace environment, and key performance indicators. When the onboarding is complete, you will be ready to successfully lead your own store as a store manager at one of our stores in Northwestern Småland. As a store manager at Lidl, you create the conditions for an inspiring workplace by leading your team, delivering results, and together creating a positive customer experience! You are overall responsible for your store's sales and results and lead your store's management team. For you, the customer is always number one, but it's equally important that you successfully motivate and develop your employees. You do this largely by participating in the daily store work and acting as a role model. The role also includes tasks such as: Deliver excellent customer service in your store Take full responsibility for your store's results and key performance indicators through continuous planning, follow-up, and development Lead and motivate your team to perform to their full potential Ensure daily operations by leading and planning activities in your store Effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team to achieve set key performance indicators Optimize store processes through regular analysis Recruit, onboard, train, and further develop your team We're looking for someone with experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You have strong problem-solving skills and are skilled at planning and delegating tasks. You are driven by your strong customer focus and always prioritize the customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity working with your team is something you take for granted. Beyond that, you are a good communicator and can develop your team and your store through feedback. We also see that you: • Have completed upper secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on retail. • Speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you have previous experience working as a deputy store manager, store manager, or department manager in grocery retail or another service-oriented sector. We offer you a challenging and developmental work environment where you get a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to influence Lidl's success in Sweden. Our daily work is, besides leading, inspiring, and delivering according to clearly set goals, also characterized by our core values: performance, respect, trust, down-to-earth attitude, and community. And because we're growing, you can continue to develop. Quickly. Within your role, or toward another one. In the same place, or somewhere else. Within stores, warehouses, offices. Locally, nationally, or globally. We support you on your journey toward more responsibility and new challenges. You simply become part of a large team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps each other. We offer benefits such as a company car, fitness allowance, parental leave supplement, employee discount in our stores, access to free counseling from a psychologist, lawyer, and economist, plus numerous offers through our benefits portal. Of course, you are also covered by a collective agreement and occupational pension. We enable fair wage setting within the company through a non-discriminatory salary system. Want to be part of our journey? This recruitment is conducted on a rolling basis, so we would like to see you submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than 2026-09-08.
