Your Assignment Are you passionate about young people's development? Become our new digital mentor at Trainstation! Technology is our tool, but people are our focus. We're looking for someone who is passionate about pedagogy, relationship-building, and who wants to help young people grow. At Trainstation, we create a safe, inclusive, and developmental meeting place where young people are co-creators of their own leisure time. About the Role As a mentor with us, you work with a coaching approach in both open and structured activities. Your main responsibilities are to: Function as a safe, relationship-building adult who supports and builds trust with young people. Plan, lead, and evaluate meaningful activities where young people's participation and influence are central. Collaborate and network with other important stakeholders (e.g., schools, parents, associations, social services, police, and business). Lead projects, organize events, and participate in developing the activities. Use digital environments and creativity as a tool for young people's learning. Who Are You? To thrive in this role, you have great patience and a strong drive to help young people gain new insights. You're excellent at meeting children and young people, understand the importance of acceptance, and easily create dialogue. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of young people's social behaviors—not least online—and know what it takes to build an inclusive environment regardless of socioeconomic circumstances. You have the ability to explain things so people understand, and an inner drive to find solutions to problems that arise along the way. Your Qualifications Experience in supportive and developmental work with people, for example within educational activities. Ability to work relationship-building and create meaningful activities with children and young people. Relevant upper secondary education. Music studio and music production. Meritorious Experience in digital creation (e.g., audio, text, film, image, animation, 3D environments, electronics, social media, or programming). Knowledge in areas such as design, music production/podcasting, AI, and VR. Pedagogical work specifically directed toward children, young people, and/or adults. Experience in multicultural social work. Knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English. Your Competencies Ability to work relationship-building and create dialogue with children and young people. Understanding of social behaviors and patterns, particularly on the internet and in social media. Knowledge of how socioeconomic circumstances affect young people's leisure time. Good understanding of how to create a safe and inclusive environment. Good pedagogical ability to explain things in an understandable and engaging way.
