Within functional support, you work with everything from home care to supporting people at their workplace, in leisure activities, or in creative environments like theater and music. What is a functional impairment? A functional impairment is a reduced physical, mental, or intellectual ability. It can be congenital or occur later in life and can be visible or invisible. Each person is unique – with their own abilities, needs, and strengths – and that's what makes the work both meaningful and rewarding. Our Operations We are recruiting for various functional support activities: - Residential care with special services (BmSS) – 24-hour operations. - Daily activities – habilitative and work-oriented activities during daytime. Placement is made based on the operations' needs and your previous experience. Work Tasks The work varies depending on the activity, but may include: - Educational support in daily life - Personal care - Cooking, laundry, and other everyday chores - Activities and social support - Documentation and medication management according to delegation Challenging and self-injurious behaviors may occur in some of our operations. Temporary Work: As a temporary worker, you work as needed and set your own availability. Working hours vary between day, evening, weekend, and night depending on the operation. Qualifications To apply for a position with us, you must be at least 18 years old, in accordance with regulations on the working environment for minors AFS 2023:2 6 chap, 5, 6, and 8§ regarding solo work. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have a pass in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test administrator Educateit. If you are trained as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or have other education that the employer considers equivalent, or if you are currently studying in care and welfare, pedagogical, or social work, this is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have experience working in care and welfare, pedagogical, or social work. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for your work tasks and the group's work tasks. You think about those we are here to serve and their best interests.
