Become a Personal Assistant to a Man with Down Syndrome Near Visby!

We are now seeking an engaged and attentive colleague for our client who lives just outside Visby. The client is a man in his 30s with Down syndrome. He does not have speech and needs your support and presence in all aspects of his daily life. What do the shifts look like? The work is varied and shifts are divided into: Day shifts (08:30–16:30): You start the day at the client's home. Together you take the transport service to his daily activities where you are present during the day, and then take the transport service home again. Evening and night shifts (16:30–08:30): You relieve the day staff at home during the evening, night, and morning until the next shift starts. This shift includes 9 hours of on-call time (standby duty). Weekend work: During weekends, 24-hour shifts may also occur. Who are you? Gender does not matter – it's your personality that counts! We are looking for someone who is genuinely attentive and engaged. Since we value a long-term employment relationship, we would prefer someone who wants to be a reliable and stable presence in the client's life over a longer period. Since the client expresses himself a lot through sounds and the noise level in his vicinity can occasionally be high, it is important that you are comfortable in a sound-active environment and are not sound-sensitive.
