As a parking enforcement officer, you play an important role in creating order, safety, and a positive experience in the urban environment. The role involves monitoring and reporting illegally parked vehicles and informing the public about upcoming changes in the traffic environment. The positions are flexible between our centrally located offices in Stockholm. These are permanent positions (with a 6-month trial period) on a full-time basis. Work may include both foot patrol parking assignments and mobile assignments. The position is primarily based on daytime hours, Monday–Friday, but you will occasionally work early morning shifts, evenings, and weekends. Requirements In addition to the personal qualities mentioned above, you must meet the following basic requirements: Complete a 4-week basic training program for Public-Law Parking Enforcement Officers starting September 29, 2026.* Secondary education with satisfactory grades in Swedish and English. Fluid Swedish in both speaking and writing. Good health and physical fitness. Driver's license category B. Additionally, you must be free from criminal convictions**, drug-free, have your finances in order, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. *As a final step in the recruitment process, Avarn Security will offer you and cover the cost of a place in a basic training program for public-law parking enforcement officers. Salary is not paid during the 4 weeks of training. Completion and approval of the basic training with 100% attendance is a condition for employment. **To be employed at Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment at an authorized security company in accordance with the Security Companies Act (1974:191). The application to the County Administrative Board is handled by Avarn Security. Depending on the position, a security clearance under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements under the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted.
