Together with Toyota Material Handling Europe, we offer an introductory program for those who want to build a long-term career in the industrial sector. You don't need any previous experience in the industry. The program starts with two weeks of training where you'll learn the fundamentals of assembly and material handling, with pay throughout the entire training period. After that, you'll begin your journey in Toyota Material Handling Europe's production environment, where you'll have the opportunity to develop step by step. For those who demonstrate drive, responsibility, and a desire to grow, there are excellent opportunities to take on greater responsibility over time. About the Company At Toyota Material Handling Europe's site in Mjölby, approximately 3,000 employees work with material handling products, from development concepts to finished vehicles. Your Future Responsibilities The introductory training combines theory with practice to give you a secure start in Toyota Material Handling Europe's production and community. You'll work as an assembler or material handler and gain understanding of the entire process – from material handling to finished product – and how collaboration, quality, and continuous improvements contribute to success. As an assembler, you have an important role in truck production. The work involves varying assembly tasks, from simpler to more advanced operations. With the support of instructions and drawings, you'll assemble various components on trucks. As a material handler, you're an important part of the factory's workflow. The role includes truck operation, kitting materials to assembly lines, registering material in IT systems, and work in goods receipt and loading. Work is scheduled on a 2-shift basis: • Day shift: Monday–Thursday 06:30–14:30 and Friday 06:30–16:00. • Evening shift: Monday–Thursday 14:30–00:00. Your Profile We're looking for someone who wants to take the next step in their career and build a long-term career in the industrial sector. You may already work in industry today, or you might come from a completely different field and are curious to try something new. Perhaps you currently work in retail, service, logistics, healthcare, or another field where you've developed strong responsibility, good teamwork skills, and a drive to do good work. We know that valuable experience can come from many different professions and believe that attitude, engagement, and willingness to learn are just as important as previous industry experience.
