The Swedish Prison and Probation Service, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted involuntary care for youth with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM-home Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest setting just outside Mariannelund, receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or acting-out behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs. Job Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you work closely with both clients and colleagues from several professions. You are part of our health and care team together with nurses, a psychologist, and a doctor. The role includes, among other things: - Assess clients' physical and mental health - Manage medication and participate in rounds - Participate in treatment planning and team meetings - Support treatment staff in health and care matters - Document, coordinate care efforts, and conduct health conversations As new staff, you will complete SiS basic training Qualifications We are looking for you who: - Are a licensed nurse - Have good ability to prioritize and work independently - Enjoy collaborating with different professions - Have good communication skills and communicate clearly - Have a B driving license and good Swedish in speech and writing Experience from addiction care, psychiatry, or the TakeCare journal system is meriting.
