Description Welcome to become part of the school leadership team at Center 1! The team consists of assistant principals who together lead operations at Kålltorpsskolan grades 7–9, Kålltorp Resource School grades 1–9, and Rosendalsskolan grades F–6. The position involves working 60% as an assistant principal at Kålltorp Resource School in Björkekärr and 40% at Kålltorpsskolan grades 7–9. The schools are located in the scenic Björkekärr and Kålltorp areas with excellent public transportation within the Örgryte-Härlanda district. Together, the schools have approximately 450 students and around 80 employees. Our operations are characterized by openness, dialogue, and transparency, which creates favorable conditions for both students and staff. The goal is to offer a safe, pleasant, and developmentally enriching learning environment where students have influence and take responsibility together with adults. Duties The leadership organization consists of one principal and five assistant principals. As an assistant principal, you are both a pedagogical leader and manager for parts of the operation. In this position, you are responsible for grades 7–9 at Kålltorp Resource School, including the SU group, as well as for teachers of practical and aesthetic subjects at Kålltorpsskolan grades 7–9. You work closely with other assistant principals and under the principal's leadership. The assignment is varied and focuses on the school's core processes, with the goal of making a difference every day for students' learning and development. You have responsibility for operations, staff, and students at two school units and collaborate closely with student support services. You also drive school development together with the school leadership team. The role is highly operational and involves you being a clear pedagogical leader and role model, with a strong focus on instruction and knowledge development. You have access to support from the administration in areas such as administration, finance, HR, quality and development work, digitalization, and legal matters. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: • A university degree of at least 180 ECTS credits where pedagogy has been part of the education • 4 years of experience working in schools • Previous leadership experience • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and other governing documents at the national level for all school and activity forms within primary and lower secondary education.
