What We Offer You As Assistant Principal, you are an important part of the school's leadership. Together with the Principal, you lead and develop the school's operations with a focus on student learning, staff development, and a safe school environment where everyone is given the opportunity to succeed. You provide close operational leadership and are a visible and present leader in the school's daily activities. Through your leadership, you create engagement, participation, and favorable conditions for both students and staff. Your responsibilities include: • Together with the Principal, lead and develop the school's operations in accordance with school law, curriculum, and the employer's goals • Share responsibility with the Principal for parts of the school's systematic quality work and monitor and analyze results to drive the school's development • Lead and support staff in pedagogical work through visible leadership and feedback • Ensure that the school's pedagogical vision and common working methods are implemented in daily operations • Create favorable conditions for a safe, conducive learning environment focused on knowledge • Collaborate with students, parents, and external partners to strengthen student development and school quality • Participate in the employer's joint development work and contribute to knowledge exchange between schools • Help structure and lead student support services What We Are Looking For We are looking for you as an engaged and confident leader with a genuine interest in school development and people's growth. You build strong relationships, create trust, and enjoy leading in an operation where collaboration, quality, and the best interests of students are central. You: • Have a pedagogical degree, preferably a teaching degree, and experience from school operations • Are well familiar with the school's governing documents and have a clear idea of how they are implemented in practice • Are a confident and clear leader and manager who builds trust through relationships and communication • Have the ability to create engagement and participation • Are organized, proactive, and have a strong drive for development issues Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
