JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As assistant principal at Hamnabro adapted primary and secondary school, you will have a central role where you work together with the principal to drive the school's development forward. You are responsible for structuring and organizing operations, ensuring quality and goal fulfillment, and creating good conditions for both students and staff. With us, you become part of an engaged school leadership team in an environment where development work is prioritized. • As assistant principal at Hamnabro, you have special focus on personnel management, student health work, and quality work. • Lead and develop the unit with focus on quality, goal fulfillment, and the unit's needs. • Support and develop staff to ensure good quality and compliance with legislation. • Drive change initiatives to meet operational requirements and implement digital solutions and new working methods to increase efficiency. • Personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for the unit with responsibility for ensuring sustainable resource utilization. • Collaborate with other stakeholders within our administration and other operations within the city. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you as a structured and confident leader with the ability to plan and create security and clarity in operations. You handle stress constructively and maintain a good mood in pressured situations. You will work closely with both students and staff, and therefore we see that you have an easy time building trusting relationships with both colleagues and students. You collaborate well, motivate others, see possibilities and alternative solutions that benefit the whole, and can adapt operations based on students' specific conditions. With your commitment and focus, you create trust and contribute to a school with high quality and well-being. You practice pedagogical leadership, show empathy, and have administrative skills. You have competence and deep understanding of various disabilities. Formal Requirements: • Relevant academic education • Teaching certification/certified leisure activities instructor • Documented experience working in school and education Merits: • Documented leadership experience • Started or completed principal training, or equivalent leadership training in the field • Special educator or special pedagogue with experience leading and organizing the Student Health Team • Experience leading and driving systematic quality work in schools Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Commencement: Start date by agreement.
