As Assistant Principal at Fokusskolan adapted elementary school, you will have a central role where you, together with the Principal, drive the school's development forward. You are responsible for structuring and organizing operations, ensuring quality and goal achievement, and creating good conditions for both students and staff. As Assistant Principal with us, you will have an exciting and varied role where you: • As Assistant Principal at Fokusskolan, you have a special focus on personnel management, student well-being work, and quality assurance. • Lead and develop the unit with focus on quality, goal achievement, and operational needs. • Support and develop staff to ensure good quality and compliance with legislation. • Drive change initiatives to meet operational requirements, and implement digital solutions and new working methods to increase efficiency. • Take responsibility for personnel, budget, and work environment for the unit, ensuring sustainable resource utilization. • Collaborate with other actors in our department and other operations in the city. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are looking for you as a structured and confident leader with the ability to plan and create clarity in operations. You handle stress constructively and maintain a good sense of humor in pressured situations. You will work closely with both students and staff, and we therefore see that you have a talent for building trusting relationships with both employees and students. You collaborate well, motivate others, and find solutions that benefit the whole. Close and situationally adapted leadership, student focus, and care for staff are natural parts of your working approach. With your commitment and focus, you create trust and contribute to a school with high quality and well-being. Formal Requirements: • Relevant academic education. • Teacher certification / Licensed educator in after-school programs. • Documented experience working in school and education. Merits: • Documented leadership experience. • Begun or completed principal education, or equivalent leadership education in the education field. • Special education teacher or special education training, with experience leading and organizing the Student Well-being Team. • Experience leading and driving systematic quality work in schools.
