The Medical Imaging and Function Division (VO) at Skåne University Hospital encompasses the specialties of medical radiology, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine as well as clinical neurophysiology and neuroradiology. Alongside our clinical operations, we conduct extensive education and research activities.
The Gastro- and Uroradiology Section of the Medical Imaging and Function Division is a complete diagnostic department with MR and CT diagnostics, conventional X-ray with fluoroscopy, as well as large ultrasound diagnostics and gastrointerventional units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now seeking an Assistant Medical Director in medical radiology for the Medical Imaging and Function Division, with placement at the Gastro- and Uroradiology Section.
As an Assistant Medical Director with us, your role includes work within multiple modalities of gastroradiology. You will also participate in multidisciplinary conferences and develop diagnostic methods. On-call duties, as well as various types of teaching and supervision, are also included in the position.
The primary work location is Lund. Work assignments may also occur in Malmö.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking you as a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has:
- specialist competence in medical radiology or equivalent
- full-time service of at least three years (documented effective time)
- clinical skills and independence in gastro- and uroradiology beyond obtained specialist competence in medical radiology
- completed or planned course in clinical supervision
- documented teaching and mentoring merits
- Swedish language proficiency at minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
Medical responsibility and area of expertise are meritorious, preferably within MR diagnostics and CT diagnostics.
Dissertation and/or specialist examination can be credited as equivalent to a total of six months of clinical service.
