About the Firm Juridik Juristen i Sverige AB is a growing law firm with a primary focus on family law and social law. The firm currently employs three experienced lawyers with many years of legal experience from, among other things, work at law firms and courts. The firm has district court experience as well as extensive litigation experience and many years of experience with court proceedings in several different areas of law. A large part of the firm's work consists of family law. We handle cases concerning custody, residence, and visitation as well as financial family law matters. The work therefore involves a combination of litigation in court and handling of matters including estate administrations, property divisions, and other financial family law issues. The firm also works extensively with compulsory care cases, particularly under the LVU, LPT, and LVM legislation. We are now looking for an associate lawyer who wants to become part of the firm and develop with us. About the Position As an associate lawyer, you will initially work closely with and assist the three experienced lawyers currently working at the firm. The position also offers good opportunities to gradually take on greater responsibility and independently handle cases. Your work tasks will include: Drafting statements, appeals, and other legal documents, Conducting legal research and preparing legal decision-making materials, Assisting with preparations for meetings and court proceedings, Participating in and taking minutes at meetings concerning financial family law matters, Assisting the firm's lawyers in cases under LVU, LPT, and LVM legislation, and Gradually assuming responsibility for your own cases concerning custody, residence, and visitation. As you become more comfortable in the role and develop your skills, you will gradually take on greater responsibility, with the opportunity to independently represent clients and participate in meetings and court proceedings. The position is therefore particularly suited for you if you want to gain broad practical experience in legal work and litigation and want to develop into an independent lawyer. You have high ambitions and good work capacity and thrive in an environment where the pace is sometimes intense. You readily take your own initiative, work efficiently, and have a natural drive to move your tasks forward. At the same time, you are receptive and appreciate working closely with and developing together with your colleagues. Since a large part of the work consists of written legal argumentation, we would like you to have a very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are thorough and organized and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new legal issues as well as handle multiple tasks in parallel while maintaining quality. Our clients are often in difficult and intrusive life situations. It is therefore important that you have a professional demeanor, good judgment, and the ability to build trust, while at the same time maintaining legal and professional distance. Previous experience from a law firm, attorney's office, court, government agency, or other legal work is a merit but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, commitment, and your willingness to learn and develop. Language skills in addition to Swedish and English are a merit.
