Engsholm Castle is seeking an operational assistant housekeeper with breakfast responsibilities. We are now seeking an engaged and operational assistant housekeeper who wants to help give our guests a truly wonderful stay – from the first cup of coffee in the morning to a welcoming and carefully cleaned hotel room. The role is varied and suits you if you like being where the action is. A couple of days a week, you are responsible for breakfast and ensure our guests get a great start to their day. The rest of the time you work with cleaning and maintenance of the castle, hotel, and other buildings on the castle grounds. Your main responsibilities: Prepare, serve, and manage breakfast a couple of days a week Create a personal and welcoming breakfast experience for our guests Clean hotel rooms and common areas Handle cleaning in the castle and other buildings on the property Contribute to order, quality, and a pleasant environment Collaborate with the housekeeper and other colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations We are looking for someone who is thorough, responsible, and service-oriented. You see what needs to be done, enjoy working hands-on, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You are comfortable both working independently and as part of a team – always with the guest experience in focus. This position is at 80 percent and follows annual working hours. This means your working hours are adjusted according to the business's seasons. During peak season you may work five days some weeks, while during quieter periods it could be around two working days per week. For someone who appreciates variety and follows the castle's natural rhythm, this is a wonderful and varied arrangement.
