We are now looking for an engaged and operational Assistant Store Manager who wants to drive our new store in Sundsvall together with the Store Manager. As Assistant Store Manager at Puuilo In your role as Assistant Store Manager, you will work side by side with the Store Manager as the closest operational manager for the store's staff. Together, you will be responsible for the store's management, sales, security, order, and staff well-being and development. You will also serve as the Store Manager's deputy during their absence. Working hours are scheduled between 06:00–20:00 and include weekend work, which creates a varied and dynamic everyday environment. Your main areas of responsibility: Ensure that the store is commercially attractive, well-stocked, and that sales targets are met through timely merchandise management and correct prioritization on the floor. Coach the team in daily work, ensure everyone knows what needs to be done, and create an open and interactive feedback culture. Participate in schedule planning and resource optimization. We lead from the floor! It is a natural part of everyday work to use radio communication, operate a forklift, and help with trailer assembly. What does Puuilo offer you? Experience in retail leadership: You have previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager, Team Leader, or equivalent management role in retail or discount retail. Strong commercial mindset: You have good business acumen and the ability to make decisions that support the store's sales and profitability. Coaching and empathetic leadership: You have excellent communication skills, lead with empathy, and create an open environment where employees thrive and develop. Schedule Planning & Collective Agreements: Knowledge of scheduling and understanding of how resources are used efficiently and fairly. Flexibility & High Pace: You thrive in a dynamic growth environment with high pace, radio communication, and practical store work (meriting with a forklift license).
