The Authority Unit at the Care and Services Administration is now recruiting a benefits administrator to join our teams handling cases for the municipality's elderly citizens according to the Social Services Act. You will work with cases concerning home care services and various housing arrangements.

Your new workplace is located in the newly renovated facilities of the Care and Services Administration at Sollidenvägen 64B, where we work in a special security zone with an activity-based working approach. The office contributes to the possibility of a social work environment. There is an opportunity to work alone when handling phone calls, for example. The possibility to work from home exists up to two full days per week. We have annual working hours and work hours are office hours, Monday to Friday. The position is full-time with a planned start in the fall or by agreement.
Organization
The Authority Unit is responsible for the social services' exercise of authority regarding support measures for the elderly and for persons with disabilities. The unit consists of benefits administrators, LSS administrators, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, administrators, business development specialist and managers. The unit's administrators are divided into three different teams. Two teams working with the elderly target group and one team working with LSS and social psychiatry.
The work includes travel with our electric cars within the municipality and therefore you need to have a class B driver's license.
Your responsibilities
Our work area and main responsibilities are to:
Investigate, assess and make decisions according to the Social Services Act regarding home care and other support measures, primarily directed at our elderly citizens.
Be a supporting function for those we serve and for their next of kin.
Provide service and information.
Maintain contacts and cooperation with all providers of the Care and Services Committee.
We document in the VIVA business system.
Qualifications
Requirements
Degree from a social work program or social care program
Class B driver's license
Meritorious
Experience working with authority exercises
Work experience from elderly care
