Welcome to Us The Adults and Disabilities operational area consists of four units; the adult unit, the social psychiatry unit and two disability units. The area is led by an area manager, four unit managers and a group leader. The Adults and Disabilities operational area strives for high accessibility and good treatment towards our users, collaboration partners and each other. We encourage development work and are happy to see all employees contribute to improving our operations. The disability area is divided into two units and consists of a total of 16 benefits advisers and one administrative officer. We are now looking for a benefits adviser for the adult disabilities unit as one of our employees is moving on to new adventures. What We Offer We are located in fresh offices in an open-plan office environment with proximity to Karlaplan and the recreation area Djurgården. We offer flexible working hours, wellness allowance and apply summer working hours. Your Role As a benefits adviser you work with the individual at the center. The work is multifaceted as you, in dialogue with the individual and any representatives, work to find the best solution for the individual. As a benefits adviser you are responsible for assessing needs, making decisions about and following up on services for adults with disabilities according to both SoL and LSS. A large part of the work consists of collaboration with other actors and this requires good communication in speech and writing. We are looking for someone who enjoys varied work where no two days are the same. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for you who have: A degree in social work or a behavioral science university degree that the employer deems equivalent Previous experience as a benefits adviser/LSS adviser in the disability field Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing It is advantageous if you have: Previous experience as a benefits adviser in the disability field within Stockholm City Previous experience with discharge planning from healthcare. As a person you are stable and have the ability to handle stressful situations that arise at work. You take responsibility for your tasks, take initiative and drive processes forward independently. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize your tasks. You are flexible and have the ability to redirect your tasks based on changed priorities and circumstances. You enjoy collaborating and contribute to a good work environment through an open, accommodating and problem-solving approach. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
