The Social Administration in Järfälla Municipality is responsible for elderly care and disability services, individual and family care, as well as care and support. The Disability Authority division is part of the Elderly Care and Disability Services department. The Disability Authority area encompasses three units: the LSS Assistance Unit for Adults, the LSS Assistance Unit for Children and Youth, and the SOL Assistance Unit. We are now seeking a new colleague with an interest in the LSS field of operations. We are located in what is called an authority building within the Social Administration, with close proximity to case officers and social workers in other operational areas, which facilitates collaboration on joint matters. DUTIES Your main responsibility is to investigate, make decisions on, and follow up on approved services under LSS and SOL as well as the Act on National Transportation Service for Persons with Disabilities. Work involving government authority is varied—meetings with clients and their relatives are part of it, as are documentation and development work. The role includes contact and collaboration with service providers and other professionals, both internally and externally. You will be responsible for your own area but will receive help and support from your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS • A degree in Social Work or other university education that the employer deems equivalent • Strong collaboration skills and personal maturity. • Communication skills in both speech and writing.
