Do you want to work with public administration and are interested in elderly people as your target group? Needs Assessment for Seniors is responsible for public administration according to the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. The area is led by an area manager and includes a staff and four benefits units with a total of 93 committed employees. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and within the units, benefits coordinators, mentors, group leaders, transportation service and fee officers, and administrators work.
Your role
As a benefits coordinator, you are responsible for investigating needs, assessing, deciding, and following up on services according to the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. Follow-up of approved services, implementation, and costs are part of your work. The work consists largely of documentation and meetings with others, and therefore places great demands on good communication in speech and writing.

Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
A degree in Social Work.
Current experience with needs assessment through public administration within elderly care.
Good knowledge of the Social Services Act and legal practice.
Good proficiency in Swedish language, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have:
Knowledge of Stockholm City's guidelines within social services elderly care.
Experience working with needs assessment within Stockholm City.
Practical experience and knowledge of the documentation system Paraply and LifeCareSP.

Within needs assessment, you will make many decisions, and we are looking for someone who makes decisions with sound judgment and acts on them despite limited information, time pressure, or difficult circumstances. You find it easy to collaborate with other professionals and find it valuable, and you are passionate about continuous operational development. As a person, you are structured with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work efficiently. We are looking for someone with strong collaboration skills, always keeping the individual in focus. To succeed in the role as a public administrator, it is important that you are professional in your professional role and can distinguish between the personal and professional, and that you are secure, stable, and have self-insight.
