About the Job We are looking for someone who wants to work with investigating needs, making decisions, and following up on services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS). The work is based on a holistic perspective where the individual's needs, participation, and self-determination are at the center. You collaborate closely with family members, healthcare, service providers, other authorities, and partners to ensure appropriate support based on the individual's needs. The work is varied and meaningful and gives you the opportunity to make a real difference in people's everyday lives. Work Tasks Investigate needs, make decisions, and follow up on services according to SoL and LSS. Work based on IBIC in the case management process. Collaborate with family members, healthcare, other authorities, and partners. Work with a holistic perspective where the individual's participation and needs are at the center. Contribute to the quality and development of operations and lawful exercise of authority. In interactions with service users and loved ones, a safe, professional, and empathetic approach is of great importance. Competencies and Abilities To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Ability to work independently and in a structured manner. Flexibility and confidence in handling varied cases. Clear, respectful, and trust-building communication skills. Good empathetic ability without taking on others' emotions. Initiative and responsibility-taking, both independently and in collaboration with others. Good understanding of collaboration and its importance for achieving good results. Qualifications Social Work degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience with authority administration according to SoL and LSS. Experience working according to IBIC. Driver's license category B. Meritorious: Knowledge of the business systems Combine and SAMSA. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. About Us At the Adult Unit, we work with authority administration in several areas. Today the unit consists of 14 employees and is led by a Senior Social Worker and a Unit Manager.
