About the position
We are looking for someone who wants to work with assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on interventions granted under the Social Services Act (SoL), with a focus on care and support, but which may also include other areas when needed. You collaborate closely both internally and externally with care personnel, family members, and other stakeholders. The work is varied and meaningful, and you make a real difference in people's daily lives. You are also part of our collective quality and development work to strengthen and enhance both our operations and support for our users. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date by agreement.
Duties
• Assess needs, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to SoL
• Collaborate closely with family members, healthcare, other authorities, and partners
• Work according to IBIC methodology and support colleagues in other areas when needed
• Work with a holistic perspective where the individual's participation and needs are central
• Provide early support through guidance, advice, and information
In interactions with users and those close to them, a secure, professional, and empathetic approach is essential.

Qualifications
• Social work degree or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience with public administration under SoL within care and support
• Experience with IBIC methodology
• Valid driver's license (category B)

At the Adult Services Unit, we work with public administration in several areas. The unit currently consists of 14 employees and is led by a Senior Social Secretary and a Unit Manager.
