At the investigative unit within functional support, we are ten colleagues working closely together. WORK TASKS Your assignment As a benefits administrator within LSS and social psychiatry, you have a central role in creating conditions for people to live an independent and meaningful life. You will: • inform, advise, and receive applications • investigate needs and make legally secure decisions according to LSS and SoL • plan, coordinate, and follow up interventions • meet people in different life situations where your approach often makes a big difference The work is independent but takes place in close collaboration with colleagues and management. You have contact with the individual, family members, representatives, and other partners, both within and outside the municipality. Home visits are a natural part of the work. Within LSS, the target group includes both children and adults, and within social psychiatry, the target group is adults. You work in Treserva and based on IBIC, and keep yourself updated on legislation and legal practice as part of your professional responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who Have an academic degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education, and who wants to use your expertise to make a difference. You also have: • knowledge of relevant legislation and government authority • B-driver's license • good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish • good experience using IT as a support in your work, such as office packages, Teams, and similar It is meritorious if you have experience with: • government authority within LSS/social psychiatry • knowledge/training in social law • IBIC, Treserva, or Cosmic Link • working with the target group of people with disabilities • FUT or welfare crimes As a person you are Engaged, responsible, and confident in yourself and your professional role. You have an easy time building trust and meeting people with respect and empathy even in complex situations.
