Workplace Description: At the turn of the year, we launched our new unit Adults and Functional Disabilities. This unit brings together case management in social psychiatry, harmful substance use and addiction, LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Disabilities), intimate partner violence, and support for individuals seeking to leave criminal lifestyles. The unit also includes residential support and employment activities. We coordinate case management in social psychiatry and addiction to create more cohesive and efficient case handling for a target group that often has complex and overlapping needs. We are now seeking a caseworker who wants to be part of developing our new unit. You will have great opportunities to influence the design of our new working methods. With us, you can contribute to building a new operation with approaches aligned with the new Social Services Act, where service users' needs are in focus. A significant portion of our team's expertise currently lies in social psychiatry and LSS. Therefore, we consider it a merit if you have experience in case management within: - harmful substance use and addiction - intimate partner violence - exit/leaving criminal lifestyle programs Job Description: Your work involves exercising public authority within the unit's areas with opportunities to develop specialized expertise in certain areas. Work with the entire target group occurs as needed based on operational requirements. In line with the new Social Services Act, the unit's work in providing early support will be developed, which is also part of this role. As a caseworker, you work both independently and in a structured manner. You receive and process applications, investigate and analyze individuals' needs, and make decisions about support and interventions in a legally secure manner. Following decisions, you continuously follow up on the granted interventions. Investigation and follow-up occur through conversations and meetings with the individual, and we use IBIC as a methodological support in our work. Collaboration is an important part of the assignment, both internally and externally. Your work includes guiding and directing Salem residents within the municipality's services. Documentation is performed in the Treserva system. We work process-oriented, structured, and needs-based. Qualifications: To be considered for the position, you meet the following qualifications: - A degree in social work or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent. - Experience exercising public authority within the unit's areas. Particularly meritorious is experience exercising public authority within harmful substance use and addiction, intimate partner violence, and exit/leaving criminal lifestyle programs. - Good knowledge of legislation, legal precedent, and guidelines within the unit's areas. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken, as documentation and investigative conversations are required. - It is meritorious to have experience working according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) and to have worked with exercising public authority. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate with others while being able to work independently. You are communicative and resolve conflicts constructively. The position involves meeting people in difficult situations and requires a stable and secure personality and the ability to reflect on yourself. You work in a structured manner and contribute to developing working methods. Your approach should be characterized by commitment, drive, and the ability to take personal responsibility. A Class B driver's license is meritorious. Employment Terms: A permanent position and a temporary assignment. Full-time. Start Date: By agreement.
