JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Social Services Case Manager at the Assistance Unit, you will be part of an experienced and dedicated work team of seven case managers. We work as a team with close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strong collegial support. The role involves varied and qualified work where you will have the opportunity to develop alongside experienced colleagues. As a Social Services Case Manager, you work with administrative authority according to the Social Services Act (SoL). You independently manage the entire handling process, from application and investigation to assessment, decision, and follow-up. Your responsibilities include: • Processing applications and services according to SoL • Investigating and assessing an individual's needs based on their specific circumstances • Making legally sound decisions and following up on approved services • Collaborating with both internal and external professionals and stakeholders • Contributing to legally secure and high-quality handling with the individual's needs in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in Social Work, or alternatively another equivalent education that we consider relevant for the position. You have experience investigating individuals with mental and physical disabilities according to IBIC. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation, experience with documentation, and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. To be successful in this work, you must be stable and confident in yourself, contribute to a good collaborative climate, and be empathetic and clear in interactions with service users. It is also important that you have good judgment and that you manage your work in a structured and independent manner. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
